D TEAM ADVANCES TO POP WARNER
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!
Congratulations to the D-Red Team for advancing to the National
Championships in Orlando, Florida!!!
We are extremely proud and fortunate to have had two teams reach the New
England Championship. Our C team lost in a valiant effort to the Mt. Hope Cowboys.
Brookline
and Jamaica Plain Pop Warner football has seen tremendous growth over the
past few seasons. Great coaching and great support from the community marks
the program. The 2009 campaign will include over 175 players of all ages and
sizes.
The general objectives are to inspire our youth, regardless of race,
creed or national origin; to practice the ideals of sportsmanship,
scholarship, and physical fitness.
The program stresses learning lessons of value far beyond
the playing or cheering days of the boys and girls involved, such as:
self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership and
good sportsmanship.
Registration
for the 2009 season is here! Our practices are usually at
Kraft Athletic Facility at Downes Field in Brookline. They begin in
August and the season runs through to October.
Brookline-JP Pop Warner is a VOLUNTEER organization.
We welcome your participation and support in
anyway you can. Please
contact league
president Darel Moss if you are interested in taking an active role.
